    Remitly Wallet is a feature within the Remitly app that gives you a simple way to keep money ready to send. You can add funds, store them safely, and transfer when the time or rate feels right. Use your wallet to set money aside for future transfers, personal goals, or to have funds ready in case of an emergency—all with no hidden fees.

  • Who can use Remitly Wallet?

    Remitly Wallet is currently available by invite only for Remitly customers sending money from the United States. We’re gradually opening access to more customers and countries. If you’d like to be among the first to try it, you can join the waitlist.

  • What currencies can I store in a Remitly Wallet?

    At this time, you can add and store USD in your Remitly Wallet. When you send, your money is automatically converted to your recipient’s local currency with Remitly’s best available rates. We’re working to make more currencies available soon so you can manage and send even more flexibly.

  • Does the Remitly digital debit card have any fees or balance requirements?

    There are no foreign transaction fees when you spend internationally. There’s also no cost to get the card, and you’ll enjoy:

    • No monthly fees
    • No overdraft fees
    • No minimum balance or activity requirements

  • How is my money kept safe in a Remitly Wallet?

    Your security and peace of mind are our top priority. We use advanced data protection to help keep your account safe from fraud. The money you hold in your Remitly Wallet is stored or transferred through trusted U.S. banking partners, so you can feel confident your funds are in good hands.

  • How long does it take for money to appear in my wallet?

    When you add money with a debit card, it’s usually available immediately. Transfers from a linked bank account can take 3 to 6 business days to complete. Once your money arrives, it’s ready to send right away.

  • How long does it take for a transfer from my Remitly Wallet to be processed?

    Transfers from your Remitly Wallet begin processing as soon as you send them. Delivery times depend on your chosen delivery option, and we’ll keep you updated at every step so you always know when your money will arrive.
