Ankur Tiwari

Ankur Tiwari is VP & GM of Remitly Business, where he leads the company's foray into facilitating payments for Businesses. Based in Seattle, Ankur has been overseeing Remitly Business since August 2024, focused on making cross-border business payments simpler, faster, and more cost-efficient. He built Remitly's Business payments offering from scratch, growing it into a multi-product platform serving businesses and freelancers across the US, UK, and Canada. Ankur is also passionate about the role of agentic AI in transforming financial services, both on the customer-facing side and in how businesses operate internally. He brings over 15 years of experience from previous roles at Amazon and American Express, holds a degree in Economics from Delhi University, and serves on the advisory boards of Kalpavriksh Healthcare and Commudle.
