How do I sign up for a business Remitly account?

Sign up is easy–follow these steps to create your business account:
 
If you have a Remitly personal account, make sure you've signed out.
 
  1. Navigate to the Remitly business website in your browser and select Create business account.
  2. Enter your business email address and password, then select Join now.
    Note: If you already have a personal account, you'll need to use a different email for your business account.
  3. Enter your legal business name and type.
  4. Select Check eligibility.
  5. Follow the instructions to confirm your business.

What types of businesses are eligible?

We currently support registered sole proprietorships, limited liability companies (LLCs), S-corps, and C-corps sending from the United States. Check out our Business Profile Agreement and our Acceptable Use Policy for more details on what businesses we currently support.

What information do I need to sign up for a business account?

To make signing up for a business account quick and easy, have the following information ready:
 
1. Basic information about you: name, date of birth, tax identification number (SSN, ITIN, or a physical ID), phone number, home address.

2. Basic information about your business: business address; business website (if you have one); the typical customers of your business and the reasons your business sends transfers; industry; number of employees (if any); and the employer identification number (EIN) of your business (as applicable).

3. Business ownership details: your title, ownership percentage, and details about any additional owners of your business, including their home address and tax identification number (SSN, ITIN, or a physical ID).

Once you sign up, we’ll let you know if we need any extra information to confirm your business. If any of this information changes after sign up, reach out and let us know, so we can re-confirm your business.

Depending on the recipient's location, money can be received through cash pickup, mobile money, home delivery, debit card deposit, or directly into a bank account. Be sure to inform the sender of your preferred method.
Recipients don't need a Remitly account to receive money, but the sender must have an account to send funds.
