How do I sign up for a Remitly business account?

Sign up is easy–follow these steps to create your business account:
If you have a Remitly personal account, make sure you've signed out.
  1. Navigate to the Remitly business website in your browser and select Create business account.
  2. Enter your business email address and password, then select Join now.
    Note: If you already have a personal account, you'll need to use a different email for your business account.
  3. Enter your legal business name and type.
  4. Select Check eligibility.
  5. Follow the instructions to confirm your business.

Who can use Remitly for business payments?

We currently support U.S.-based businesses that are formally registered as sole proprietorships, LLCs, S-corporations, or C-corporations. To make sure your business is eligible, take a moment to review our Business Account Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. What do I need to open a business account?

Getting started is simple—just have a few key details ready:
  • About you: your full name, date of birth, tax ID (SSN, ITIN, or valid ID), mobile number, and home address.
  • About your business: business address, website (if available), your customers and reasons for sending money, your industry, employee count, and EIN (if applicable).
  • Ownership info: your title, ownership percentage, and similar details for any other owners, including their address and tax ID.
    We may request additional information after you sign up to verify your business. If anything changes later, let us know so we can update your account.
