Remitly Ambassador Program terms and conditions

This is a summary of how the Remitly Ambassador Program (the "Program") works. When you sign up for the Program, you'll review and accept the full Remitly Brand Ambassador Agreement, which will govern your participation in the Program.

Who can join the Program. You need to be of legal age in your country and have a Remitly account in good standing. An account in good standing is one that is active and follows our User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Your account needs to stay in good standing as long as you're in the Program.

What you do as an Ambassador in the Program. You share Remitly with people who might send money abroad, using the unique offer code we give you. You can share your code however is easiest for you, for example, by message, on social media, by email, or in person. That code is the only referral mechanism you can use. You cannot create your own code, use someone else's, or use any other affiliate link.

What you will tell people if you post about Remitly as part of the Program. If you post about Remitly online, you will make it clear that you're paid by Remitly to do that. In your posts, you will be required to add a disclosure like "Ad - paid Remitly Ambassador" where people can see or hear it easily. For example, you will add the disclosure at the start of your post or video, not in your bio and not behind a "see more" link.

How you earn. You earn a commission each time a brand new Remitly customer uses your code on their first ever transfer and that transfer qualifies. To qualify, their first send needs to meet the promo criteria attached to your code, including a minimum send amount. When the transfer meets the criteria attached to your code, the sender will get a promo discount on that first send and you earn commission. There is no cap on the number of codes you give out or commissions that you earn. Your commission rate is shown in the Ambassador Program Platform (the "Platform") and the commission varies by country.

How you get paid. Your earnings are paid weekly into your wallet in the Platform, and you can withdraw to your bank account whenever you want. A transfer qualifies for a commission once the money the new customer sends in their first transfer reaches the recipient's account or the recipient picks up the funds. You can also see your referrals and earnings on the Platform at any time.

When a commission may not be paid. You don't earn a commission if the customer's first transfer doesn't meet the offer code terms, or if the transfer is later reversed, refunded, or canceled. You will not receive a commission if the customer's first transfer does not meet the Program criteria, for example, if the transfer falls below the minimum send amount, or if it has been found to be fraudulent, no commission is earned. We can also hold, reduce, or reverse your earnings if your posts or referral invitations do not follow the Program rules you will see in the Brand Ambassador Agreement.

You are an independent contractor. You are not a Remitly employee, worker or agent. You choose when, where and how often you take part. There are no targets, no minimum hours, no meetings you have to attend, no reporting and no performance reviews. You use your own phone, transport and time, and Remitly does not reimburse expenses.

Tax is yours to handle. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax or social contributions on what you earn. We may need a tax or identification number from you before we can pay you.

Training comes first. Before you start promoting Remitly, you complete a short compliance training and confirm you have read the Dos and Don'ts guide.

Using the Remitly name. You get a limited licence to use the Remitly logo and name while you are in the Program, following our brand guidance. You cannot alter it, and you stop using it if you leave.

Your information. We use a third-party provider to run the Platform and pay you. To set you up on the Platform and send you earnings, we collect your name, address, bank details and, where required, a tax or identification number. This is used for running the Program and paying you, under Remitly's Privacy Policy⁠ （別ウィンドウで開きます）.

Leaving. You can stop at any time, for any reason, by telling us or deleting your Platform account. Remitly can also end your participation at any time, with notice.
