About the Role:

We are hiring a Product Manager reporting to the Director of Product, to bring to life and manage our growth partnership products. Using Remitly’s product and technology, this product leader will be entrusted with the challenge and opportunity to produce growth through partners who’s customers would value an integrated remittance service. You will develop a scalable growth partner product suite, including customer development, strategy, definition, requirements, and implementation. Additionally, you will oversee the full partner lifecycle - from sourcing => partner and business case development => product implementation => initial launch => reporting and optimization. In performing the responsibilities of the role you will work with regional business leaders and managers, several partners across the product organization, and the business development, and legal teams.

You Will:

  • Be the product owner, product manager, project manager, sales engineer, and business development person for growth partnerships.
  • Guide product development from strategy and concept to implementation and optimization; you will manage the success of these partnerships.
  • Partner with regional business leaders to Identify partnership opportunities that help with growth. Prioritize based on business cases. Prepare pitches and pursue opportunities.
  • Travel 6-8 times a year, both domestically and internationally supporting the regional teams with pitch, sales engineering, and business development support.
  • Negotiate with, and close growth partners.
  • Maintain an open and ongoing channel of communication with all partners.
  • Build the roadmap planning, one-pagers, functional specs, OKRs, sprint planning, and prioritization for our growth partner products.
  • Use data to grow, and improve existing relationships to achieve their full potential.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, and at least 7 years of product management experience in a high-growth organization
  • Product management experience in the consumer internet / technology industry
  • At least 3 years of success in signing, integrating and delivering mutually beneficial, high-growth partnerships.
  • A customer-centric approach to building product including the ability to isolate essential pain points from your team, partners, and customers directly
  • A desire to close deals and push them live
  • Framework-driven thinking.
  • Partnership deal execution capabilities: business case analysis, negotiation, and term sheet drafting in collaboration with business management.
  • Partnership implementation execution experience: Collaborating and leading teams directly and through dotted lines, partner with engineers, UX designers, analysts, and business managers to bring new partnerships to market.
